Joseph was appointed Organist of Her Majesty’s Chapels Royal, St James’s Palace, in June 2004, where he plays for the regular services, trains the Royal Choristers and any other commands as required.
He was a scholarship holder and major prizewinner at The Royal College of Music, London, attaining First Class Hons for his B Mus Final Recital at The Temple Church, London. He was then awarded major scholarships from The Countess of Munster Trust, Hattori Foundation and The Royal Philharmonic Society to study with both Marie Claire Alain in Paris and Dame Gillian Weir in London.
Joseph has since returned to The Royal College of Music, Junior Department to teach the organ. His work as a solo recitalist and recording artist on the ASV label on organs across Europe has been lauded by The Gramophone, BBC Music Magazine,The Saturday Telegraph, Diapason (France), Klassik (Germany), Novita-Gennaio (Italy) and International Record Review. Joseph has appeared as a soloist and tutor in International Festivals such as Oundle,Thaxted and Cambridge, and at venues such as Westminster Abbey and St. Paul’s Cathedral, London.

In 2004 Joseph gave a recital in the Grand Ballroom, Buckingham Palace for The Cathedral Organist’s Association Conference. He was also organist for a concert at Buckingham Palace broadcast on Classic FM on Christmas Day 2004 after the speech by Her Majesty The Queen.
Also active as a conductor, Joseph was conductor of The University College London Chamber Choir and is Founder/ Conductor of London choir Vivamus.With both these choirs Joseph has conducted the London Mozart Players at St. John’s, Smith Square. Vivamus made it’s debut at The Royal Festival Hall in December 2004, performing Elijah with the Philharmonia Chorus, London Festival Orchestra and Sir Willard White. Joseph recently collaborated on an international DVD recording for Johannus Orgelbouw in Ede-Holland in March 2005.The DVD featured the Johannus Concert Hall and selected organs played by organists from the around the world.
Joseph will soon be embarking on his first recital tour to the USA.
