Byron Johnston - Acoustic Guitar
Currently::
Working with producer Dale Newman on the debut collection 'Oceano'
Byron began to develop his guitar playing at the tender age of 8. His style encompasses the percussive elements of contemporary, world and flamenco styles, coupled to more traditional classical influences.Those who have witnessed his concerts also talk of the predominant Mediterranean influence in his performances.

Byron has studied under the tutelage of a variety of contemporary world and classical guitarists, including Giorgio Serci. After a successful period at the Academy of Contemporary Music, where he worked with the late Celtic musician Eric Roche and renowned jazz guitarist Peter Callard, Byron moved into the composition of original pieces. He is now working with renowned music producer Dale Newman (Genesis) on his debut collection ‘Oceano’.

The style of the compositions looks towards contemporary classical icons, Dominic Miller, Juan Martin, Anotonio Forcione and, of course, John Williams. In the last year, Byron played a series of open air concerts as part of the Guildford Music Festival, alongside a wide range of solo and ensemble performers, from both classical and contemporary backgrounds. The open air series was further supported by a number of radio broadcasts, involving both live performance and interviews. Summer 2005 also saw him make his first appearances internationally, playing to audiences around Andalucia during August and with a forecast to perform in Prague and Florence in 2006.
